Welcoming Committee: Plans and executes the Welcome Gathering for new parishioners. Invitations are sent to the new members approximately three – four times a year in Fr. Turner Hall to introduce them to the congregation and the ministries Blessed Sacrament offers. Commitment:

St. Vincent de Paul Society: The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Blessed Sacrament is the lay  ministry outreach arm of our parish. Our members are dedicated to providing emergency help to people in need, in our parish neighborhood and the adjacent neighborhoods.

St. Vincent de Paul Society Meal Program: Members serve at the St. Vincent de Paul meal site on the First Wednesday of the month. Volunteers bake desserts to be served at the meal site, (which are dropped off at the Parish Office during business hours). Through your donations of food on Share Sunday, combined with the baked goods and food donated to the SVDP, the South Side meal site fed over 1,600 people in 2018.
